Has anyone managed to get close to Andy's lonestar tones from the demo video out of a Mark IV. I just got my Mark IV after holding out for a year to find one at the right price, but after seeing that video.......I'm thinking lonestar :?: luckly, my hair is too short to pull out.

I just remembered, I was at Berkley Music yesterday and they have a racked Mark IVa no switch for $999 it's a consignment so it may be had for lower, although I was told the price was just dropped from $1300

I'm only a mile away, but am in the process of working out a trade for my '85 JCM800 for a Mark IV with a guy from out of state. Now, I feel sorry for the guy who owned that mark because I've dealt with that store before, and they probably only gave him $600 for it.

Whats a fair price to pay for a TOV head, in pretty darn good shape, clean, no Tears. No Footswitch, or cover as well? Last head to sell on fleabay had Burgundy Tolex, and sold for $1425, plus $70 Shipping, Seems kinda high. The Local GC has one for $1299
