I would say go with the Mesa 2x12, The Marshall AVT 412 is a very small 412 and doesn't have a big sound to it. I think you will notice the oversized 2x12 will give you a bigger sound than your current cab

I am getting a Road King and i was thinking about running my 4X12 Recto Cab for the overdrive channels and using a 2X12 cab loaded with EV's for my clean channels. What cab should i use for the EV's, I was thinking about using a 2X12 Recto cab since it is the same width as my 4x12.
