    Mesa Mark IV A

I've decided to let my Mark IV go so I can get some money to finish up my recording setup. This is the first version of the Mark IV built in 1991. It was retolexed last June with a burgandy textured shell and a black textured front panel. The pics make it look a little brighter than it is in...

Dean 79 MLF with OFR and upgraded pickps

OFR, Bill Lawrence USA L500XL Bridge, Seymour Duncan '59 neck. All black hardware. Grover tuners. Mahogany body/neck. Abalone dot inlays. The rosewood fretboard has been stained slightly darker so not to contrast too much with the blacked out theme. I've had this guitar since early '07 and have...

My First Mark V Metal Clip!

Man that sounds pretty good! I got a chance to mess around with a Mark V yesterday at my local Boogie dealer and was impressed, but I think I'll stick with my IV since I don't have an extra 2K laying around :D

New look for my Mark IV

I'm not sure if I'm gonna put the Boogie badge back on or not. It looks so sleak and clean the way it is.

New look for my Mark IV

Well, kinda. This was the shell my Mark III came in, but I swapped it out with the Mark IV combo shell to sell it. So I was stuck with the Mark IV in an old, beat up, hideous shell. I stripped it down and had originally planned on just staining the wood for temporary use. A buddy of mine pointed...

How do your like this Mark IV sound? Log-ish type content..

Everyone sounds like they are very skilled, but it sounds way too close to LOG in every way. The vocals sound like a deliberate impersonation of Randy Blythe. Just my opinion.

Who inspired you to play a boogie?

Metallica all the way. The And Justice For All tone blew me away when I first heard it in '93. I don't really seek that tone, as I feel it really only fits that particular album with all it's aggression. The uber scooped mids don't fit my playing style, but that "root" tone is stronger than all...

    Mark III "No Stripe" Combo

This had sold on ebay, but the buyer never paid. Sooooo, I put the amp in my MarkIV combo shell. The tolex is in great condition. I use the old shell for my MarkIV now. I kept the reverb tank in for the MarkIII. With the new shell, it will be $720 plus shipping.

FS: Mesa Boogie Mark IV as new condition!!!!

These horror stories ruin it for everyone ultimately. I've done a handful of online buys outside of Ebay, and luckily I haven't been burned yet. I hope you get your money back from Paypal. The last time I had to make a claim, it took 10 days to get my money back (just a reference point for ya).
