FS: mark 111 combo, purple stripe, simulclass, EQ

This is in good shape, tempted to say mint. No tears or gouges and nice and clean tolex. (cream) Comes with the heavy duty Studio Slips cover. Used it for my rehearsal band, so once it was set up it didn't go anywhere much. New-ish power tubes, spare V1, graphic EQ, R2 volume mod, reverb mod, EV...

Dual Rectifier Recording Pre for Sale SOLD

Yep, still available. I haven't got back here for a while but I'm still interested in selling. I'd ship it to the UK but you'd have to be responsible for filling out customs and paying duty and all that. Cheers

How heavy (actual weight) is the 5:50?

Oh..... I just read it was around 50 pounds so i guess I jumped the gun on my post by a tad. But lets see.... what does my mk III with EVs weigh I wonder? It's gotta be like 80, 90 pounds right? So that's still significantly lighter. i'll go try (lift) one next week!

How heavy (actual weight) is the 5:50?

I'm thinking I'll probably go with this amp just so I don't have to carry my mk III to band rehearsal. Is it significantly lighter? If not I might have to get the 25. I haven't actually tried them yet, so who knows, maybe the 25 is fine for a medium loud rock rehearsal. Thanks

    LSS or Express 5:25

Not sure what the lonely comment means but since this thread is about the Lonestar in comparison to the Express it's totally appropriate to mention a less than stellar design feature in one of the amps.

    LSS or Express 5:25

Just to jump in with nothing other than to say after a tryout with the Lonestars I went with something else. They were OK but not what I was looking for. What really ticked me off was how hard it was to twiddle the knobs. Bad design, and from Boogie no less. I was shocked. bought a Mk III. Way...
