Lonestar Classic effects loop - serial or parallel?

In the manual it has the word "series" next to the description, but the level adjust seems just like an older Mesa I had that was parallel. Which is it? I also read a ton on effects especially delay today. Seems like quite a few set their send level at 12:00. I tried that setting this...

Lonestar 100/50 vs 100/50/10 Tone Differences?

I have the 100/50, and it is awesome. Like the others said, get it, you won't regret it - Lonestars are the ultimate.

Good delay unit for use in effects loop?

Another huge vote for the Eventide unit. My amp sounds awesome with that unit. May cost a bit more than some others, but does everything you want, including expression pedal programmable to any function. big thumbs up.

I do love this amp !

Hours I was playing per week with the marshall - maybe 2. Hours I'm playing per week with the lonestar - minimum 14. Kind of tells the story. I agree, awesome amp. Luther

    Lonestar 1x12 vs 2x12?

I've been playing my 1x12 combo for about three weeks now, and really like the sound. Of course I only have been playing it my home studio. I think if I was in your shoes, I'd get the same combo, and the 1x12 extension cab. Seems like many report better tone with the 1x12, and the ability...

    Foo Fighters & Lone Star

I've been watching that Return to Forever DVD this week - what a performance. Those four are so tight, but know how to leave space for each other. It's by far the best dvd I've ever seen...

    Lonestar 1x12 vs 2x12?

I guess the question is, what sounds better about a 2x12? is it more volume, more width, deeper tone, etc. If it is the same amount of power feeding both setups, what is the theoretical plus and minuses of both? Just doing some casual surfing on this forum, indicates that 2x12 owners...

    Lonestar 1x12 vs 2x12?

Thanks for the reply, that's interesting about the size of cab and speakers. I picked up my lonestar 1x12 this weekend, and am amazed at how big the sound is coming out of just the one speaker - plenty of tone! I have been playing a marshall dsl 2000 out of a 4x12, and the lonestar sounds...

    Lonestar 1x12 vs 2x12?

Just bought a 1x12 combo, but curious what the main difference is between a 1x12 and 2x12 (sound wise). Thanks, Luther

Ready to buy if the right condition and deal are available. Mostly looking for 2x12, but will consider 1x12 as well. Not interested in Lonestar specials. Email at [email protected]. Thanks, Luther
