    URGENT help required...........

    Thanks 94Trem,it can indeed be wired for 230v using the original transformers using the in series wiring you suggested. Its not straight forward but I have spoke to a Boogie specialist and he can do the work for the same price as a step down transformer..........a job for the new year.

    URGENT help required...........

    I took my 20/20 dyna watt to an amp tech yesterday to collect a step down transformer,[its a USA 117v spec and I'm in the UK]. The guy takes the lid off to see if it could be converted to 230v,even though I know you'd need to buy 230v transformers,anyways after much smoke and mirrors he says it...

    Once again.... Studio pre 110v to 220/230v conversion.

    So is it possible to convert my 20/20 from 110v to 230v and do you have to buy new transformers. Seems to me that if it can be done then I would'nt have to buy a step down transformer for around £60 Any thoughts on this......!!!!

    Hi there,this is my first post on here,so here goes.... I've just picked up a 20/20 Dyna watt amp to use with my studio pre and I'm a bit unsure about the positions of the power and standby switches........is the switch in standby when its pointing down......and the power on with the power...
