FS: Mark 1 empty head cab - SOLD!

I don't know. I can post dimensions of the cab if that will help. I'll be back in a while.

FS: Mark 1 empty head cab - SOLD!

Here's a head cab for a Mark 1. Has the reverb pan cutout in the bottom. It's for the early series heads with the slightly narrower mounting hole spacing. I was going to use it for a Mk 1 reissue, but I'd have to redrill. Retolexed some time ago. Has a custom purple-heart wood front panel...

    FS: 1990 Boogie MKI Reissue

A nice little Boogie for sale here. Has 1990 dates on the chassis. SOLD Cosmetic condition 7/10. There's a couple rough spots in the tolex along the top edge of the back panel and the lower front of the amp. Otherwise looks OK. It's been kickin' out the jams for a long time. Functional...

Had no idea Boogies were biased this cold!

I know about the fixed bias and the rationale behind it. I was doing some work in the shop and thought I'd test my Mk I reissue just to see where it was biased. Man, I can't believe it sounds as good as it does with biasing like this. I've got some Svetlana 6L6GCs in there. They're measuring...

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

 Russ, did you ever get the chance to blast that LP through your Boogie yet? 8)

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

I use an old audio-technica PR325 mic. It's the only mic I have, I should really get a newer mic. This is supposed to sound pretty much like an SM57 for a reference. The speaker was miced off-axis about 6" from the grille. At the vol I was playing at, if I get it much closer it starts to...

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

Thanks guys! If you look close at the picture, you can see the settings I used except for Vol 1 and the Master Vol. For the clip it's set pretty much like this... Vol1=6+ Vol2=6+ Master=3 Treble=6+ Bass=2- Middle=4+

Anyone have pictures of reverb tank mounting in a Mark head?

Wow, that's fantastic! I can see exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a ton :!: :!:

Anyone have pictures of reverb tank mounting in a Mark head?

Hey, that'd be great if you would. The thing is, I can only spot one screw hole in the bottom of the head case. Shouldn't there be 4 of them? Plus, I'd like to see the rubber bushings used. I don't have any and wondered if I could just sub anything else that dampens the mount. Thanks!

Anyone have pictures of reverb tank mounting in a Mark head?

I picked up a head cab for my Mk I reissue combo. I'd like to see some detailed shots (any shots actually) of how the reverb tank is mounted. Anyone have some to share? Thanks!

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

Thanks guys! I can only claim the lead stuff, the rest was part of the backing track.

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

Thanks, gents! Actually, it's kind of misleading to say everything is stock. It is, but I've got the MK I running on a pair of 6V6s in Tweed power mode and pumped it through the Celestion V12-80 in a 1x12 combo I have. That box is the size of an 18w Marshall cab. Makes it sound a lot bigger...

    Mark I reissue w/Les Paul

Here's a clip I did this weekend using my recently acquired Mark I reissue and a Les Paul Vintage Mahogany Studio. Both the guitar and amp are stock. Clip is guitar > cord > amp, as Nature intended :D http://www.visi.com/~sstolle/boogie_n_onions.mp3

    Converting a combo to head?

Oh, uh, sorry for the thread hijack thelordofcheesecake.

    Converting a combo to head?

Oh, it's not that I don't like the reverb tank mounting. It's more that I have a head cab from a Sundown amp that is remarkably similar in size to the Mark I chassis. Same width and height, the long distance between mounting holes is the same, the Boogie has a shorter distance between the short...

WTB: Head cab for Mark I combo w/reverb

Thanks for the info, Joey. I'll have to measure my combo to see which version I have. EDIT: Oops, just reread your post. I have a reissue, so I guess I know the measurement then :D
