IV Owners: Full or Tweed Power?

i had both volumes around 4 to start with...then i took the channel volume up to 7. Also, when i put the channel volume at 0 and output at say 6, it is fairly quiet (obviously) but as i turn the channel volume from 0-3 it gets quieter  once i hit 4 on the channel volume it bumps up...

IV Owners: Full or Tweed Power?

hey, sorry to bump an old thread... I just got my mark IV and have been playing in tweed a lot However, i noticed it is extremely quiet. I figured it would atleast be loud enough for a small live show...but it seems it only goes up to bedroom levels (maybe a little louder) definitely not loud...

    Gilmour tones with a mesa...?

would a stiletto be able to get gilmour tones? They are mesa's "british" amps arent they? they have the el-34's too. also, a roadking could use el-34's with the lonestar clean channels...but lonestars come with either 6l6 or el-84 right? Would the sound be much different? sorry for the nooby...
