    Buzz Feiten

The Buzz system is a non-invasive Retrofit does not change your guitar in any way. My nut is toast on my JP so I need it changed anyway. I am just trying to find people that may have done the mod and they think about it. Its going to be cheaper then shipping my guitar out to EB and having the...

Where to set all my volmues?????

Currently I have inputs on get gmajor right before clipping on a CLEAN channel. Volume on the 2:90 is about half way and triaxis output is about 10-11 O'clock. Masters on the Triaxis channels are about 3.5-4 depending on the channel since I use the preset here for any kind of volumes boost

Where to set all my volmues?????

My current rig is a Triaxis/2:90/Gmajor. I have 4 different volumes: Triaxis channel volume Triaxis Output volume 2:90 Master Volume Gmajor output Gmajor preset outputlevels From reading I am guessing you want to push the tubes as hard as possible. This means you can crank up the Triaxis...

What's the secret to a good live sound?

I have two basic clips up here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=712017 Test 1 I think I like more and tried a different mic placement for that (stright at the speaker about half way from the cone to the edge). Also using LEAD2 Yellow. I never test tone in an alone...

    Triaxis TEST clips

I forgot that there were also two different mic positions. Clip 2 is with the SM57 pointed off axis at the cone. Clip 1 is pointed stright at the speaker on the grill about half way between cone and speaker edge. Both are the same Triaxis preset.

    Triaxis TEST clips

My drummer has a mixer by him that we are all patched into and he might have scooped the mids out a little. I can assure you with the dsonic there is plenty. They are both LEAD2 yellow

    Triaxis TEST clips

These are not mixed and just from a little jam session, but this is what I am trying to tweak for a Ryth tone......comments please http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=712017

    Triaxis Help....!

I have also bought a Triaxis/2:90 for my band and the other guy has a Line 6 Spider II head. Trust me when I say, the line 6 doesn't hold a candle to the Triaxis. Plus, he tried to get a tone that makes his cab go "WOOOOOOF" on palm mutes that drives me a little nuts. Anyway, I have some...

What's the secret to a good live sound?

Being a newb with higher end gear (I have gone from a Dual Rectifier to a 2:90/Triaxis setup) I think the first thing I had to learn for myself is listening to a good tone on a CD is NOT what my amp is going to sound like. I have a JPMM guitar and kept trying to hone in on Petrucci type tones...

    splicing pickup wires

I want to take out my dsonic and put the SS back in my JPMM. I have a Triaxis setup (used to have Dual Rec) now and I think the dsonic is a little much mid wise for this set up. Are there tonal problems if I splice the wires so I can try them both before I solder it again?

    Who uses THe Trixais (pros)?

I know JP has used it and I believe one of the Sepultura guys does......anyone else?

Anyone find their Triaxis a little harsh? (Dsonic pickups)

Nice covers man......I like that tone on the Kings x Cover....Ill have to try dumping the trebble a little and see what happens

Anyone find their Triaxis a little harsh? (Dsonic pickups)

I am temped to put my SS back in my JPMM to see if it helps. I dropped a Dsonic in here for my Dual Rec but Im not using that anymore. Seems the Triaxis is border lined harsh though it still sounds SWEET. Anyone used a little EQ to take out some of the harsh frequency's?

    Bad V4 tube in Triaxis

Does that sound like a tube problem.....it works for a few minutes then cuts out to hum. I have to shut off the Triaxis and back on again but it will cut back out after a few minutes sometimes seconds. I moved the tube from V4 to V1 and it does it on the other Lead channels too so I am assuming...
