It seems I have a dud tube in my V4 (Lead 2). I just retubed my 2:90 and wonder if I can use one of the preamp tubes I took out in my V4 for a few days until my new replacements get here. I certainly don't want to mess it up and will wait if it might cause it harm. Thanx all.
 
you should be fine even if they arent matched. as long as there are tubes in there (i of course mean good and appropriate tubes) should be good. but get a new set of matched tubes in there asap
 
Does that sound like a tube problem.....it works for a few minutes then cuts out to hum. I have to shut off the Triaxis and back on again but it will cut back out after a few minutes sometimes seconds. I moved the tube from V4 to V1 and it does it on the other Lead channels too so I am assuming its that tube.
