PLEASE DELETE ... moved sale to eBay

I'd say your price is right in the ballpark, if not a little on the low side. The market's just slow these days I think. Also, pics will always help. -dave

Request.... Post IIC+ and Studio Preamp comparison clip

Hmm, if you give me a few days, I can try to get a clip of my c+ -> traditional 4x12 (v30s) -> SM57 getup. No guarantees on playing prowess though. (I suck) Keep in mind, a lot of tone can vary from the cab design/mic placement too. I can do a few for you with different mic positions to show the...

using triaxis to switch a stompbox

You can use the switches on the TriAxis, but you'd have to redesign the stompbox to include a relay and another jack. Your best bet is to either buy a switcher like bzylka said or get used to hitting two pedals.

Adjustable Bias Mod Kit First Impressions

Every time before I open up an amp I play a loud chord and switch off the main power while leaving the standby switch on. When I get it open I check the caps and there's never more than like 2v in them...hasn't failed me yet. I too am excited to try this mod on my LSC...I'm just finishing an...

    Lonestar VS Triaxis... Hesitating!

You'd think so, but 5 watts can still be pretty freakin' loud! As a TriAxis/2:Ninety and Lonestar Classic owner, I'd say keep your rack rig. To me, the TriAxis setup is mostly about preamp distortion anyway, so turning the power amp down isn't too big of a deal. In order to get the Lonestars to...

    Best cab/speaker for LSC?

Dude, for a little cab that sounds huge, nothing beats a Thiele! -dave

Mic ideas and techniques for LSS tone?

This. The best spot I've found with the 57 is to point it perpendicular to the grille, aimed at the intersection of the speaker's dust cap and actual cone. From there you adjust to taste: towards the cap for brighter, away for darker. Funny mic placement related story...at my church a guy had...

EBMM Petrucci...to BFR or not to BFR?

Is there really a big difference in fit/finish or tone between the regular ones and the BFRs? Is it worth the extra dough? I'm contemplating trading my Les Paul Traditional and '78 The Paul toward a JP model and am trying to decide. Thanks guys! -dave

Help me ID my c+ tranny?

I live in Montgomery but work in Villa Park, hang out in Lisle/Naperville, Elmhurst and Joliet. I haven't called Mesa yet just because I didn't really wanna bug them and waste their time if I can find the info on the internets. They do have real work to do, as apposed to us, just drooling on...

Help me ID my c+ tranny?

Here's the initials by the transformer and the overall wiring. Also, the clipped leads on the export switch. -dave

Help me ID my c+ tranny?

Well, I have this b -> c+ head, and I'm told it's the wrong transformer in it. Can anybody help me confirm this? This is a real c+, right? All the wires to the voltage switch are missing, so I'm assuming someone was in there at some point to replace the tranny. There's some initials in blue...
