Has anyone ever taken a photo of the underside of the mkiii pcb board? I'm trying to trace an issue with the RY2 switching, but the amp is really croweded in that area. I'm hoping a picture of the underside will help me trace the possible issue.

There is a local shop here in Minneapolis selling a MKIII for 1400 dollars. It is a 60 watt reverb model with no EQ. I paid 400 dollars for the exact same model because it had a broken knob for a pawn shop.

Those are usually called the bright caps. If you want to find out what they do, go to a store, find a used 5150 or 6505, and play with the bright switch on it. The bright switch on amps usually switches those caps in and out. I wouldn't bother messing with them.

Correctly put, the first batch of Rectifiers. The Mark transformers were not limited to just the first 500. My rack rectifier has the MKIII transformers and it's serial number is in the 1000's.
