    Mark VII or Reissue C+?

Yep, toroids keep the weight way down too, it's a 50w tube amp that weighs maybe 20lbs. I compared it to my Mark VII yesterday, basically indistinguishable in tone. There is a very small, difference in feel due to it not being simul-class, feels like the JP2C, which makes total sense. If I'm...

    Mark VII or Reissue C+?

Also, it says Marcus III, as that's his name for it, he'll build whatever you want. I chose a IIC+ (with switchable ++ on the rhythm 2 switch), it's 50w, cost me $450. The 100w version goes for $500 I think.

    Sure do!

    Mark VII or Reissue C+?

I was on the list in mid-October, should be good for mid-December delivery. I have a Mark VII, JP2C, Mark IV-B, Mark III green, and Crab amps Mark IIC++ clone, hopefully my take will be useful to some members

    Mark VII or Reissue C+?

My memo says 11/12, which I took as meaning November OR December, AFAIK, the Rectifier was the one that was due out Feb/March

    Mark VII or Reissue C+?

Most important difference for OP is that the VII will be the better amp for performance, no question. Also, for ease of recording. The IIC+ is seriously limited in functionality, but then it's also one of the most iconic amps of all time. Personally, if I'm a working musician looking for the...

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

Me over here, "are my tubes glowing? Yes. OK, I'm good" 😆

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

Well, if that was the case, I suppose you should worry equally with every real 2C+ for sale. Are you going to get a good one, or a bad one, can't really know. Since I can't control any of that, I choose to just not worry about it. If a 0.0001% difference makes me hate the amp, then I probably...

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

I mean, lore is lore, there is likely to be something that cannot be done the same exact way ever again, however is this difference significant, and will it even be noticeable? My guess would be no. Hell, I have a Crab amps IIC++ that I got for $460 and I'd argue it sounds better than every IIC+...

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

I think so, seems like there is more than 200, but who knows for sure. Just glad I got one 🤘

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

Yep, the doc I have says 11/12. I got mine for $3599 OTD from my smaller dealer

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

    Honestly, I don't really care 😄

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

Definitely limited, it actually says limited due to components availability

REISSUE Rumor: Mark IIC+ and 2ch Recto

I've got the sales brochure right here, all I can say at this time is, all the info so far, is correct. As soon as I get word I can share the brochure, I will

    Mark V or VII

    Very true!

    Mark V or VII

Volume pedal solves pretty much all the issues. I actually find the MV on the Mark IV (my only MV Mark amp) to be a bit annoying, I feel like it doesn't scale the channels equally, due to the perceived loudness difference in distorted vs clean signals, always requires tweaking the other channel...

    Mark V or VII

I have a Mark VII, JP, IV-B, and III green, I LOVE that the Mark VII plays like my old III, it's just an intense amp that does everything so well that I don't find myself needing MV, or any other supposed features of the V90. Also, the Cab Clone IR and load box are, to me, far more useful...

Adding pentode/triode switch to Mark III Green

Looking to try to do this non-destructively. Was thinking of replacing the Simul-class/Class A switch with a switch that could just do triode/pentode, OR maybe use a 3-way, on/on/on, to give simul-pentode, simul-triode and class A, if possible. Another idea would be maybe replace the main "on"...

For Sale Boogies For Sale, Mark III's, Simul-Satellite, V-Twin, Yngwie Strats etc

My only question is, should we be worried, with all the gear listed? You're ok right? Either way, GLWS, you've been a huge resource and may be responsible for me getting so far down the rabbit-hole with these Mark series amps 😄 (I mean that as a compliment). Huge props to you for the YouTube...
