buy a roadster. can get those vox ac-30 tones easy on channel 2. very the edge tone just add a delay

if u think the metal zone have too much gain try a maxon od 808. it is smoother and gets yuoa nice saturation with a dual or triple 3 channel

tried today. mesa roadster through a 5150 cab.sounded ok punchy and more bass than a marshall cab. not as good as mesa recto cab though but ok.

on the amp the gain about 12-1 oclock and on the maxon :volume(balance)max, gain 0 and tone about 12 oclock.

sounds good. prefer the clean on the roadster though. try that next time.

ok Now ive heard a soundclip between a 92 dual recto 2 channel and the Roadster.THANK YOU CJG!!!! and there was some difference in the tone but the roadster sounds very very very similar.

talked to my friend who has a friend(hahhah) that got a 2 channel mesa boogie recto dualfrom the 90s he is saying that he dont notice any sounddifference from his 3 chan mesa boogie dual. the later 2 channels sounds more as the new 3 channel ones or...........??????? im so curious bout this...

very good amp. an od in front of it and your in tone heaven.tighthen things up and adds a little bite

gain 1-2 oclock. treble 2 oclock. mid 12 oclock. bass 12-1 colock. precense 9-12 oclock, modernmode diode rect. channel 3 if u want a tighter sound use an overdrive with no gain vol. maxed(lower the amp gain a little)

Ive got a Roadster that im satisfied with but have always wonder if i can get the same tone and sound as a 2 channel rectifier. some say that the 2channel was easier to dial in and was tighter. please give me the answer!!!!! and what can I benfit by hard by pass the loop of my roadster
