I put a JJ in V1, I use the tweed w/ gain up on ch 1 for my dirty clean sound, and use the fat on ch 2 for my ultra clean.

Roadking lite is correct the RK is a heavy *******!! Between that and the recto 2x12 I carried back and forth up 3 flights of stairs I was crapping blood all night. But I am loving my roadster lit or not.

Again, ther was a very big difference, ALL of the settings were identical, EQ power tubes, recto, and bold/ spongy. It was a RKII and I was used my tubes in both amp, meaning I pulled all the stock tubes and put the SAME tubes in both amps. Again don't feel bad if you are stuck with a road...

The roadster crushes my old 2ch dual recto, and blew the road king out of the water I can't believe I have a recto with a pick attack.

Give the EL34's a shot, they are amazing in the roadster, I also run a JJ in V! and a EH in V2. I was never a fan of the theil to boxy sounding for me. The roadster cab is the way to go but only if you use EL34, otherwise it's a little fizzy.

I just bought a roadster this week as well, I immediately threw in a set of SED el34's and man am I impressed, much tighter sound, and a better match with the roadster 2x12 than the 6l6's.

Your insane, the roadster is the best amp I've ever played, the dynamics and pick attack is so improved over the standard dual and triples, I could care less about the stiletto pre, I had one and wasn't impressed with it anyway.

Tried the tung-sol I didn't like it very dull and low gain sound.

I have a brand new recto cab that I need to move I just bought a roadster and matching cab so this on has to go, low low use and in perfect shape. Looking for $400.00 you pay for shipping I will drop it off at a ups for you and you can take it from there.

After endless messing with my 2ch recto I ditched it for a roadster, I went in to pick up a set of tubes, a found to my surprise, the new tubes came attached to a brand new roadster, so that worked out well... thank God I am not married, otherwise I would have never been able to explain that...

I like the feel better at 50 watts. It's an 8 ohm cab btw.

I have a 2ch rect I want to run in 50 watt mode, I pulled the 2 inner tubes and 1 recto tube. Where do I plug my roadster 2x12 cab into??? The 4ohm jack??? or the 8ohm jack??? Thanks.
