Seems to be a lot of hype going on with this new version - just wondering if anyone has tried it out yet. On a Boogie, of course!

I had the TA-15 initially - ended up trading it back for the Express Plus - but thinking I had a tube malfuntion I threw a Tung-Sol in V2 that I had lying around and thought it def made a difference - for the better!

Well I keep experimenting - but I've put the on board EQ into action and placed the MXR in front after the drive pedals. Using both seems to work. I could be crazy - but it seems like more tonal options are happening.

So anyone by chance running an additional EQ on the Plus through the Effects loop? I put a 6 band MXR in and noticed an audible difference - I just can't decide if it's overkill or an actual enhancement to the onboard eq?

Do you order the Grills direct from Mesa??

Oh that looks NICE!!!!!!! The Tan is so CLASSIC! The Black & Cream is cool, but could look busy after awhile is what I'm thinking. Have to consider the long term! The tan would match my custom pedalboard better as well. Tough choice but a good problem to have! :)...

Yea, my only concern is customizing the grill and adding a 1x12 later. If everything is left black there's no concern of "matching"

WOW! Black & Cream is taking it by a long shot! Guess I could live without the 1x12 to go with an alt grill.

Looking for some creative opinions. Maybe some longtime Mesa users have seen some of these grills "live" and can offer their input. If I add a 1x12 thiele I may end up going black as it would be costly to upgrade the grill on that cab as well. CHOICES ARE: Tan Black & Cream Standard Black...
