The only cab in my opinion for this head is the Road king cab. Mine is the best tone and punch I have ever heard or felt. Go to Rudy;s in NYC at 723 7th ave at the corner of 48th street, fourth floor. Yoy will see full stacks in brown croc, red croc, and you can try out the cabs.

I had the same problem, called boogie and after some trial and error, we found out one of the speaker cables was dying. Check it out.

My RKII sounds perfect from the beatles to zepp to rockabilly to whatever. It just does not matter, if you stop and think, you will figure out what combination of power tubes to use to get your tone, Nothing is out of bounds.

the road king for me does it all, but I have had one to play with for a while. I know what it can do. Rethink your decision.Mine roars, F----kin roars, and the cleans are pristine. There is everything in between. No amp has so many tones, NO AMP. Take your time.

Check your send level on the back of the amp. One time it had accidentallyturned all the way to the right and it distorted my cleans. It should be in the 12 oclock position. Good luck

I already own them: Mark IIC+ combo and the mighty mighty Road King II. These amps cover it all!!

go to the boogie website and download the MarkIIC manual, it wont be a C+ manual but its the same design and even came with new C+'s when they shipped, so dont worry. There is no such thing as a C+ manual. Follow their directions. Good Luck!
