    I love my new roadster...

In the last 8 or so years I have bought so many amps I cannot count them all... Splawn, Marshalls, Lee Jackson, Traynor, Carvin... ECT. I love my Dual Rec. and I liked my Stiletto trident but they always seemed to be just slightly off the mark in what I was looking for... Well the Roadster is...

    ROADSTER FOOTSWITCH ISSUES

I dont notice any delay at all in my Roadster... only in the reverb, but it states in the manual it does that.

    RK Series 2/Roadster

I like the look of the Roadster... Different strokes I guess. And The look is... where Vintage meets Modern... thats why its half the old "Plexi" look and half the Diamond plate.

6L6's in 3 Ch. DR.... Which ones???

I tried the JJ 6L6's in my Rec. as well as the E34L's (W/and without the GZ34's) and My amp just never sounded stable with them. The GZ34's actually blew the fuse. (that had NEVER happened before and hasnt again after I took them out) The tone just seemed to drift all the time. too many highs...

    Dual Recto problems

In my opinion I would put all stock Mesa tubes in it before turning it on again. I have NEVER had any luck with JJ's in ANY Mesa amp yet. I tried the GZ34 rectifiers and mine blew a fuse. I was told it was because I had EL34 power tubes in it and to get a bigger fuse. Well I didnt and I just...

Tremoverb doesn't want to warm up

Stiletto trident - thinny crunch (w/singlecoil)+muddy lead?

If you want to fix the Fluid drive then go get 2 tung Sol's for V1 and V2 and finish out the rest of the preamp in JJ ECC83's I also got a set of the E34L's from eurotubes in mine and ALL the muddy boomy crap on the fluid drive went away. The gain will improve 100% !

    Is it just me..... (SOLVED)

I wont be using the Monster cables again. Theres nothing wrong with it other than its "toned" for certian sound. My problem is is that after a while (dont know if its temp or what" it actually nips freq's from your signal. I guess it wouldnt hurt to send it back and see but from what I gather...

    Is it just me..... (SOLVED)

Well after many weeks of tweaking and replacing Tubes and troubleshooting I finally Found the "Tone changing" culprit" Its my top of the line , $50.00 monster "rock" Guitar cable. It seems as though the company designs these cables with preloaded "capacitance" to tune them for the various...

HELP!!! Fried my Triple Rec....now what?!

Well if you were running it that way into your stock Mesa cab then you were putting a 2 ohm load on the head and thats VERY bad..... Ever read the manual that came with the amp?

    Mesa Maverick

I dont know the years they were. Both were built exactly alike except for 1 area..... I took pictures of them both..... the "normal" sounding one is first then the "Dark" sounding one. This area on the boards is the ONLY difference I could find between the 2 of them.

    Mesa Maverick

I owned 2 Mavericks. Both 2-12 combos. Tubed the exact same way & they were as different as night and day from the get go. The first one (My favorite) was EVERYTHING a Maverick is supposed to be. Good gain but not extreme HIGH gain and good bottom but not "alot" of bottom. The second one I...

What made you decide to buy a mesa boogie?

    After Buying EVERY Marshall I was EVER told was "THE AMP" A late 60's 50 watt - A late 70's 100 watt super lead 2 , Jcm900 4100, jcm 900 SLX 100, DSL 100, Dsl 50, Tsl 100..... Pros Of Two Heads

Its a dual Rectifier. The sounds are all Killer. everything from Skynyrd to Metallica lies withing those amps. I use a G-major in the loop of the Stiletto and a Yamaha FX500 (not good) in the Rectifier. Currently trying to decide what effects unit I want to replace the Yamaha unit. No pedals...

    Pros Of Two Heads

The JJ E34L's compared to the stock Mesa tubes..... The JJ's bring more overall tone and range. richer lows and the mids have more punch. The highs are not as harsh, More rounded. The Tung Sol gives it more gain and helps the boomy lows in Fluid drive. The JJECC803s just has a great tone to...
