    Rocktron Midi mate

I had a long 7 pin midi cabe and a short 5 pin cable. Bought a little experimenters box, a 5 pin din socket, a 7 pin din socket, and a 2.1mm PSU socket. Fixed them into the box, wired it all together (pins 1 and 7 are the power supply). 7 pin cable went into midimate, 5 pin cable into G-Force...

    Timefactor/Modfactor vs G Major 2 / Nova Sys - Help please

I have the Nova delay, that's pretty awsome as well :) I sold my G-FORCE and went back to a floor effects setup.

All the best things in life are worth waiting for :) I like the idea of that angled cab. Don't forget, we want to see pictures!

A wave from a new LSC owner

Welcome to the board! It's amazing getting so excited over an amplifier, but it's just so easy! I've always been more excited over my guitars until I bought the Lonestar, now I can't wait to fire it up at rehearsals and shows.

Upgrade older Lonestar to 10 W Class A

The ten watt section was added sometime in 2007. To be honest I never use the feature (only tried it out when I bought it) and run mine 50w on both channels. I can get a pretty good sound even at low volumes. Also, footswitching when the distortion channed was on 10w and the clean channel was...

    Barber in Vancouver?

Well I managed to get an LTD from the states and sent to the UK, about half price compared to what we would pay here. If anyone has a Tone Press they're looking to sell, send me PM.....

LSC With Closed Back Recto 2x12

Seeing as you already have the cab then surely the sensible option is to buy a head and use your recto cab. You could then either find a way to try a C90 with the head or even buy a used Lonestar cab off ebay, then either run both cabs (some people do mix v30's with c90's) or sell off the cab...

    Lonestar Special 1x12 or 2x12

    Honestly? I'd buy a head and a 1x12 cab....oh I did!!

Thanks for that! Yes that was very lazy of me and I'm the king of Googling! :)

    Barber in Vancouver?

No, not for a haircut :) I'm in Vancouver next month (from the UK) and was hoping to find a shop that sells Barber pedals. I looked on the Tom Lee and Long & McQuade sites but they don't seem to stock them....

    Drummers opinion?

I got complimented on my tone by a drummer... does this count? :) (sorry JJ (ex drummer) I'm only joking around!)

    Special Vs Classic

I love mine in black with black piping, looks darned sexy! :D

    LSC vs Fender

JJ or Groove tubes? I can't decide, but I can buy a pair of matched JJ's for half the price of matched Mesa's.....
  18. M

    Special Vs Classic

Well you certainly wouldn't be disappointed if you ended up with the classic.
  19. M

    Special Vs Classic

Had both, like both, still have the classic but sold the Special. Each have their strong points but I prefer the classic with its clean headroom. In an ideal world the classic would have a third special style amp stage :)

LSS No Sound On 5 & 15 Watt Settings

I think you're getting confused with the Lonestar classic... there is no switch for this on the special... or I'm getting confused :D
