LSC: Going to the Head... speaker cab advice

My Lonestar widebody 1x12 cab is light enough and sounds great. (Had to get the widebody to match my head...amp head, not my head :) )

LSC is LOUD.... anyway to tame it?

I don't get it either? I run both channels at 50w, turn the master down (don't change anything else) and it still sounds fab....

Lonestar Classic V1, or V2, difference, how to tell??

I wouldn't let the 10w option put you off getting an older one (I think that is the only difference), I don't think the extra power setting is a deal breaker. Having said that, I have a newer V2 :D ( JJ- Mine doesn't smell new, it smells of aftershave?!! :) goodness knows what the previous owner...

    LSS footpedal

That odd. I unscrewed the side panel on my LS Classic footswitch and it slid out no problem. The whole black panel is a printed circuit board with the switches and jacks hard mounted on it. Maybe pull a bit harder? I'm planning to shrink mine to fit my pedal board also!

Reeder Mod correcting a "defect" the way people talk

Jason, I love my Lonestar, no mods, just as it came from the factory. I have no intention of changing anything, and everytime I play it I have a big smile on my face. I only play strats through mine though and I absolutely love the sound and vibe I get on both channels. Lonestar unmodded? a big...

UPS dropped off my new LSC!!! AH YEAH!!!

Hmmm, I'm quite jealous of that angled cab. I always have my straight cab sat on something around chair height. We had a gig last Saturday and everything that came out the Lonestar sounded sweet (especially the TC Nova delay, I'm loving that pedal). Perfect balance between channels and solo and...

LSS - Loud Enough for gigging?

Hi Matt, Well I did have a special, but playing unmiked was problem because on those occasion where people invariably ask you to turn up it changed the whole dynamic of the amp, cleans dirtied up,and dirty became too "lively". I chopped it in on a classic which stays pure at high volumes and I...

Moving up in the world gone from LSS to LSC!!!

Hey Jason, any news yet? ;)

Reverb disappears when you switch channels - mod for this?

It doesn't bother me when playing live as I never notice it. During rehearsals I notice it, but only when quickly changing channels before a song. If it did annoy me I'd use an external reverb.

    Compressor Pedal

    "cranking" a LSS...

True, my gain ch volume control is at 9 o'clock and clean ch is at 11.
  18. M

    "cranking" a LSS...

That's why I switched to a classic, because the sound changed so much on a special when cranked. I suppose running it through the PA is the answer and not crankin the special...

    MK IV Reverb not working?

Either me or you is in the wrong place.....isn't this the Lonestar section? :)

50 watt settings and speaker configurations

I run 50w both channels @ 8ohm. I prefer it to the 4ohm output, just felt tighter.
