Reverb disappears when you switch channels - mod for this?

Anybody else irritated by the way the reverb drops out when you switch between channels or engage the Drive control? I assume this has something to do with having a reverb level control for each channel, but I would gladly sacrifice that feature to have a smooth transition when I switch.

Is it possible to mod these amps to have just one reverb level for both channels and not have the drop out?

It doesn't bother me when playing live as I never notice it. During rehearsals I notice it, but only when quickly changing channels before a song. If it did annoy me I'd use an external reverb.
