    Yet more Mark V questions.........

Actually, I don't love the one trip wonder! After putting my back out lifting my Lonestar Special into the back of a truck I decided to split the load and bought a Lonestar Classic head. Now I have the MK V head which is even lighter than the Lonestar head, and with the 1x12 C90 cab it's nice...

A tube can go nuclear and then recover (usually by switching the amp off and back on), but the tube is still going bad and needs replacing... I had crackling and reduced power and also the burning smell, but I had a quick look at the...

    New Mark V + ported 1-12

Yes I agree about the live part (can't comment on the MK IV as I've come from a Lonestar). I have 3 usable tones but need to see how its going to sit with the band sound. I'll be nervous on Wednesday!

    The Mark V is amazing!

That's probably true! I've had a play around with channel 1 now, and I'm just having a break (don't want to overdo it  ). Thought I'd compare it to the lonestar clean and am pleasantly surprised :) at first the Lonestar sounded a bit flat but there's seem to be a slighty more complex...
