I guess that depends on if you need the extra 50 watts from the Triple. Both are good deals if they're in good shape like you say.

Have you checked the amp settings database up top? Seems to be a number of heavy settings in there that would work for you. I know once I get a Mark IV in, that's the first place I'm going for a good starting point. Too lazy to spend forever dialing stuff in from scratch. lol

lol....I saw that and thought I'd be buying it, but then noticed it didn't have the EQ and the tolex was rough. Still a pretty good deal though. Hey, keeps me marching towards a Mark IV though.

You just missed one on ebay yesterday. I don't think anyone bid on it, so it may get re-listed, but it went off at around $100 + $50 for shipping. Keep an eye on ebay in case it pops back up. Looked like a good deal to me.

Also might trade towards other 6L6 Mesa amps, depending on if I can talk the wife in to letting me go for something a little more costly. lol
