Anyone in NYC that can work on a Triaxis?

As the owner of 2 Triaxis' in Northern NJ, stop being lazy and send it to Mesa. You will have techs say they can fix it but eventually, they will send it out. Certain things like software updated and Eprom flashing have to be done by mesa.

Mark V + ISP Decimator Prorack G setup question

I use a pro rack G with my Triaxis and it is great. Here is how it works. You plug your guitar into input 1 of the ProRack. This will remove any noise being generated by your guitar by setting threshold 1. Out of ProRack 1 into input of amp. Out of FX Send of amp into input 2 of proRack. This...

TriAxis and GT-6 - phasing issues

I had a similar problem. Open your Triaxis on top and remove the ribbon cables and clean the contacts with deoxit or a similar agent 1 at a time. This should fix the problem.

    Thin sounding Triaxes

If is sounding like it is out of phase, open it up and use some deoxit on all the ribbon connections. then make sure all of the connectors have been put back on firmly. That solved my problem.

Help Please 3 Guitar Players Rack Noise Gates??

OK. I go from my guitar into CH 1 of my Decimator. Out Ch 1 of Decimator into input of Triaxis. This tracks noise coming from my guitar. I then go out of triaxis loop to in of Ch 2 on Decimator. I go from the out of CH 2 decimator into a TC Electronics G System. If you use no effects, you would...

volume drop after warming up then goes in and out

CC mesages are continuous control messages. For example, this is how you change volume by Midi or how you make a wah in a rack unit. I once had an unstable potentiameter in a rack piece that would randomly change the settings of whatever parameter it was linked to. When I changed the pot, the...

volume drop after warming up then goes in and out

Try creating a preset on the TC where every setting is at 0 (Zero).Remove the BBE from the chain. Start playing through the G Major. When the problem starts happening, stop playing and look at all the parameters to see if the pot is somehow changing settings or if the G Major is receiving CC...

Try reverse wiring one side of the cable going from one power amp to the speakers. Or reverse wire one side of the wire that goes from the triaxis to the marshall.

    TriAxis in stereo - disappointed/confused

Sounds like a phase cancellation. Take one end of your speaker wire and reverse the wiring on one end and listen. Here is a test you can do using a battery. To make sure all your speakers are in phase, unhook the speaker you want to test at the amp (both wires preferably). Using a 1.5 volt...

Decided - Triaxis is the way to go, but need advice on efxs

I have used many different FX over the years. Have owned 2 Triaxis' for over 20 years. The best I have ever used is the TC Electronics G System. Has all reverbs, delays, mod and pitch FX. Has 1 Loop to be dedicated to the Triaxis and 3 more loops for your Pedals. Has a built in tuner and even...

Make sure the speakers are wired in phase/ Positive to positive, negative to negative. Make sure left speaker is in phase with right speaker. Out of phase speakers will sound thin and lose their bottom end.

GCX, Ground Control Pro, Triaxis...F*&K ME!!!!

Any midi cable will work. The ground control will get power from the GCX. Be sure everything is set to the same Midi Channel. I suggest setting all midi devices to "oMNI" mode. Now everything will respond to every Midi command. I also use Roland volume pedals in the Pedal inputs of the Cround...

GCX, Ground Control Pro, Triaxis...F*&K ME!!!!

The triaxis is so versatile, that sounds redundant. Unless you want to blend cleans through 1 amp and cabinet with crunch through another amp and cabinetI wouldn't do it. You would lose the ability of stereo FX. I am thinking about changing one of my Triaxis' for a recto head and a 3rd cabinet...

GCX, Ground Control Pro, Triaxis...F*&K ME!!!!

Going from memory, this is what I think you need to do. Patch cable from rear of GCX "Guitar in" to Triaxis in. Triaxis send into GCX loop 1 in. Loop 1 send to 1st pedal input.- Output from Pedal 1 to return of loop 1 -Out of loop 1 to in of Loop 2.- Loop 2 send to Pedal 2 input. -Pedal 2 output...

weird volume/power problems with my rig. help!

A power conditioner only cleans up the power. Quite often, as the band plays louder, the voltage can drop to 110 volts or lower because of the demand for elictricity from big power amps that might be sharing circuits with lights. When the voltage drops, the tubes don't have enough voltage to...
