I had the marshall 100/100 and it weighed a ton...2:90 is much lighter.. I can't believe so many people complain about the weight of it...I tried the 2:50 and it didn't have the headroom..2:90 with triaxis is a perfect combination.

That's a good point..i run my dv at zero on lead and about 2--4 on clean..

I find I have this problem but i can put it down the the fact that i like round warm lead tones and our bass player uses a 1600watt valve ampeg set up that drowns out my lower end..I'll have to brighten up my lead.. my rythm is quite bright so no prob there..

I suppose what i wanted to know is how much does the cab affect the sound and which affects more the speaker or cab..I'll check out those links ...thanks

thanks for advice..i went to my nearest boogie dealer (170ish miles away) and he gave me a price of 1000 euro (1200 dollars) for one 1*12 boogie cab with 90 watt celestion..i need two and i can't justify that sort of money..we get screwed in europe for boogie stuff...don't know what i'll do.

thanks for that...someone once said to me that lower watt speakers react quicker and give smoother sound because of less powerfull magnet... does that sound right?

hello..when i started putting my system together i hadn't much money so got a peavey preamp and a marshall power amp and got a local guy to make 2 speaker cabs (1*12's)..i now have triaxis and 2 90 power amp and g system... and am now looking at the speakers...i'm not sure how good the guy that...

I was trying to switch voicings on my 2 90 with my g system aswell..it can change one voice per preset or change from one voice to another per preset but i was hoping to reprogramme the 3 loop buttons to be 3 relay buttons and have each one control a different voice on the 2 90..both people at...

Don't go for castors..they're too small and can really vibrate your amp if the floor is bumpy..get a gear trolley you can fold up..wheels are about 5 times bigger than castors and it's a smoother ride for your gear.

that's a good point..think about how far you have to travel to the stage..one place we play we have to up a spiral stairs to get to stage..don't play there too often..smaller cases make that easier.

i've just had an email from tc and they say that you can't have more than one relay set up for each patch on the g system..so i'll have the set up banks with a different relay on each..

i used to have a 6 u rack and the best thing i did was splitting it into 2 3's.. it depends if you're gigging and if you have someone to help you with the gear..i gig a lot and mostly hav to carry in by mysely..use good cables to connect and there should be no problem.

i was also using 1010 to control triaxis..and having similar problems..it would reach max volume at only 80% of pedal and the first 20% wouldn't do anything...i calibrated it (can't remember how..i don't have it or manual anymore)..i even got another guy around with his 1010 and we calibrated...
