The newer generation of attenuators are really improved in terms of transparency.
A lot of people on The Gear Page use them, and I've heard no mention of any problems. I used a 100W Weber MASS for 5 years, every night with my DSL50. Never had a problem.

Picked up my Rev F at a GC in Raleigh. It belonged to one of the guys who works there.
Haven't tried any of the other incarnations except, briefly, a newer 3 ch.
No contest for my particular taste.
BTW, I also picked up an Alex's Attenuator and it's a cool addition for allowing you to crank...
Would you mind posting the results of your amp's physical - I get a similar sound sometimes.

Except for this small problem, it's a beautiful sounding amp.

Got my Rev F for $900. Pretty dinged up cosmetically, and mismatched
power tubes to boot. Spent $150 for a quad of =C=s and a going over by
a good tech - plus some old stock Ei and Tungsol preamp tubes - this is now an
incredible sounding beastie!

Well, took the =C=s over to my tech's place today - popped 'em in, checked the bias
and holy **** , what a difference!
So much more clarity and and the harmonics are so much richer - guess you know I'm happy. :mrgreen:

The Moog is a very versatile delay and I love the sound of mine. The others you
mentioned are highly regarded, too, but I've only played the Moog.
