I don't believe that amp has any MIDI capabilities.

I would recommend using the amp without anything else plugged in at first. Add the other stuff once you become familiar with the amp.

I think you got it. I have had amps come back from the dead after cleaning them more than once. I clean them. Lubrication of some type is needed after cleaning.

I have all new tubes in it now. But the amp is 31 years old. I am the original owner from the first run. My Tremoverb and Heartbreaker need to go in too.

Your guessing. I'm guessing based on your guess. I'm not going to give advise based on speculation. Your vintage tubes are expensive. A pair of new EL34 are not expensive. I have about a dozen Mullard xf2. I would not put them in my Mark IV as cheap as a new pair of EL34 cost.

All Mesa amps are are on the cold side. I have a lot of tubes. I would not use expensive tubes in a guessing situation.
