Here's the intro track to my band's album we're currently doing. This is the song that will start it all so it's got a huge sound to it. It has yet to be mixed, and there are no words or vocals in this song, but i think the guitars sound ultra thick and meaty! :twisted:
The sound engineer actually miced my cab up with three mics for this sound, one of which being a sub kick drum mic! So.. let me know what you think of it.

cool guitar sound. The one thing I would recommend when mixing is to bring the bass guitar up a lot more to fill in some thickness. You will find the effect of the bass pushing the guitar in your face a lot more. Give the bass guitar some low mids and lows and you'll be set.

Actually there is no bass in this track. Not yet at least. Our bass player was getting married in Hawaii when we laid this down but i agree that it could add to the sound.

He took the plunge just a few days ago. I shed a tear for him.
I am the last remaining single guy in our band... and they will envy me when panties get thrown on stage and i will be the only one to return them to their owners after the show. haha Suckers!
