Yellowjackets in a 2:90?

I am considering 4 Yellowjackets with EL-84s on one side and 6L6s on the other so I can mix the sound of each to taste. Any danger in doing this or do I need to replace all tubes with Yellowjackets?

No, no problems. The two sides of the amp don't work together that way.

Warning between those YJ and EL84 you are going to have those 4 tubes sticking out the back of the 2:90. IF your rack is a little cluttered with cables and you forget yourself, you will be cooking cables.

Thanks for the warning re the rack depth. Good point. I will mostly use it for recording though
