Xotic BB preamp pedal....

Has anyone tried one of these pedals... ive listened to the videos they have online but they can make a gorilla amp sound good online if they are trying to sell it.

Give me your thoughts on it!... I play mostly modern country, blues, southern rock stuff

I like REAL smooth somewhat compressed sound -vs- fuzzy/buzzy overdrive

The BB preamp is real smooth. Another pedal which is along the same lines is either the Mosferatu or the Blackstone Appliance pedal. All of these pedals offer smooth distortion with some compression. On most higher gain pedals the compression increases as you turn up the gain. I had a Blackstone for 4 years and should have kept it but I sold it after I bought a Guytron. I don't know you but I think any of these would make you very happy.
