Found - one Vintage Shadow (50 watt) from old Mesa Combos/Cab. 8 ohm speaker.

Took almost 3 months but I found one.

Again remember, get good pics of those cabs before you buy them and make sure you get the seller to agree what speakers are in there.

I still can't believe the guy stiffed me on one speaker after I asked if they were both Vintage Shadows in the bottom of the 4x12.

I guess I will get over it eventually.

I didn't copy the link correctly...so... do a search in eBay for Black Shadow in the Musical Instruments section. There is one there right now...August 14th with a $36.00 starting bid. No it IS NOT MINE!

Thanks Chuck.

Still waiting to hear back from someone here and that price is alittle steep seeing the guy who shorted me one of these said they can be found easily for $25 each plus shipping.

I believe that if they could be found 'easily' for $25.00...then you would already have found them. I think you were lied to by someone trying to 'down-play' the monetary significance of their dishonest behavior. They come up for sale FAR LESS OFTEN than Mesa C-90 black Shadows. I don't know what the one on eBay will finally fetch...but if I wanted one I wouldn't hesitate to enter the 'fray' at $40.00 or more.
