Hi! I am selling my Dc-3 combo!
Its just been serviced and plays great! I don't have the original footswitch but use a heavy duty laney one with a longer lead which you are welcome to! I had the graphic eq re-wired so that it is always switched in as the footswitch i use doesn't control that but thats easy to change! I actually preferred it that way as it sounds much better on both channels with the graphic on!
Its in really good condition except the handle is worn!
Would want £400 for it!
I also have one of the old angled 2x12 mesa cabs with the heavy grill on the front which i may sell if you are interested! I took out the old electrovoice speakers and replaced them with vintage 30's! Still have the E.V's though!
If you are interested you can e-mail me at
[email protected]

Cheers,

Ed

I thought the EQ was selectable between the footswitch, always on, and Lead only. Does it need re-wiring to always be on?

Either way, it looks like you're writing from the U.K. I think shipping would be cost-prohibitive. Thanks, though.

Well, I'm not against the idea of a head, but it seems like the cost of a head and a cab is more than a combo. I pretty much am maxed out at $600.

I finally found one. Thanks to Ken J for letting me know about a cool (and apparently really busy) music store in Michigan called Motor City Guitars. They're sending it out first thing in the morning. I can hardly wait!

It was $599 plus shipping. I got sniped on ebay on one that went for $555, and I've seen them going for a little over $600, too. I saw a couple on Guitar Center's website under their Used gear, but they were wanting around $50 to ship, plus another $50 in tax. So, that made it not worth it to me. Plus, they sold fast! I've seen some people on this forum saying they got theirs for less, but I haven't seen them any cheaper.

The DC-2 that was offered up in this thread was a pretty good deal and the pics make it seem like it's in mint condition. It's the newer one with the Contour setting. FYI.

Thanks. I know of one locally for $600 so I may have to pull the trigger on that one. I had purchased a DC-5 but the seller flaked out after I paypaled him the money. I received a refund but now the hunt is back on.
