Hey Gents,
I'm a long time rectifier (90s 2 channel) and studio pre user. The studio pre convinced me to dump my rectifier a few years ago, and then I sold off the studio pre to finance an old Plexi. While I love the plexi, the liquid crunch/lead tones of that studio pre have always stuck with me.
I'm now looking to fill that void with a Mark III. I would prefer a red stripe, or one of the revisions that sounds closer to the Mark II voicing (darker, liquid) vs some of the brighter Mark III tones.
