I'm looking for a head cabinet with fan and reverb for the chassis in my widebody combo.

Hey Scott,

I have a DC-5 head cabinet which is the same size as the Mark IV widebody.

I put my DC-5 in a Mark IV widebody combo cab a few weeks ago and don't need the head cab anymore.

It has the Reverb Tank & wiring, but not the fan. You could use the fan from your combo though.

Let me know if you need pics.

Hey... is it the black tolex head? Are you sure it would fit the height of the chassis on the Mark IV? Also, how much do you want?

Thanks for the reply!!!

I'm positive. I had the Mark IV head and changed it to the combo. I used the same cab I'm using now for my DC-5, it fit perfectly.

You can do a search in the Vintage Amps forum and there are several older (about 6-9 months) posts about this very same thing.

$100 + shipping which should be around $20 for Continental US.

Let me know, otherwise I will just Ebay it. I need to clean out the shop a bit and I'll never use this again. I like the Combo too much.

Hey Monsta...

Does this have a hole in the front baffle? Also, is the boogie logo on it? Sorry for asking so amn goddamned questions.

Thanks.

It does have the logo, but it's a Mesa Engineering logo, not the Boogie one that the Mark IV's have.

It does not have the hole in the baffle, but that could easily be added.

The bolt patterns for both amps are the same. I have my DC-5 chassis in a Mark IV Combo cab, and it fits perfectly.
