WTB: 4812 cabinet (SHOULD I GIVE UP?)

Anyone selling or want to sell their 4812 cab? It is the one with 4x8" speakers and 1x12" celestion.

Are there just none of these around, or is it that no one wants to get rid of them?

This has 4 10 inchers and one 15 incher. Looks pretty cool for bass.

This is usually the time of year people start selling their stuff, either to buy stuff before the holidays or in January to pay their credit cards.

Keep searching every opportunity you get on CL and Ebay.

If they are out there, you will find one.

It's mine, and I'm not terribly anxious to get rid of it, but I really, really, really want an Orange Rockerverb right now....where are you located?

I'll try to get some audio clips up tomorrow so you can get a better sense of the tone of this thing.

It's really wonderful, and I can get outstanding cleans from the amp with no effects at all. It's definitely a bit bright, and more focused than the standard Recto cab. The 4 x 12 was a bit too much for me, and this was on the floor, so I tried it out and loved it. I've had my Dual Rec and 4812 for about 14 years now, and love them to death, but I'm looking for something a bit different. Again, definitely take a look at my posting on HC to get a better sense of the cab.
