I've got this one for sale:

This is the second of two that I've built. The first one has been sold.

I'm looking for $225 empty or $350 loaded, plus shipping and packaging. That should be about $45-$50 for shipping and another $35 for UPS packing. Loaded it would come with 2 brand new Hellatone 60Ls (Celestion V30s with more low end).

This cab is ported, front loaded and in new condition. It is 30" wide, 17.5" tall and 14.25" deep. I'm looking to build some Thieles and either buy or build a 4x12 cab so I need to clear up some room and get some money together for raw materials.

This is a direct quote from the buyer of the other cab I built which is identical to this one...

Initially I played through my old extension cab just to get my ears used to the sound. My amp had been set to it for the last few months so I wanted to make sure it was the sound in my head at the moment.

I threw the amp on standby and moved the cable over to the new cab which was sitting at head level (just as the other) and sat about 5-6 feet in front of it. The very first thing I noticed was an absolute fullness of sound. I hooked it up 8 ohm mono but sitting directly in front of it there was a very definite stereo image going on. Absolutely incredible. I sat dead center and could move left or right and got the 'shift' that you get in front of studio monitors when you're mixing. sitting dead center you get this rich, robust full sound so around you. I felt like I was wearing my in ear monitors and had them cranked.

Overall sound this cab is alot more full ranged. MUCH more presence than the other cab. The original problem I always had was a struggle between a muddy sound or too much piercing highs. (Same speakers in both cabs for the record). With this one I actually rolled the highs back slightly, boosted the mids and lows and got this beautiful fender spank out of my strat. Full yet tight and controlled lowend from the E and A strings. nice nice nice nice nice rounded mids that quack just right when digging in with the tube screamer engaged and the high strings are just crystal clear with plenty of body. My strat never sounded this good.. Nor did my amp.

Construction is flawless. I touched on this already in the thread where he advertised them for sale. This thing is build great. The wicker grill is wonderful and I know this joker isn't going to fall apart if I were to ever abuse it, which I won't mind you.

All in all the cab rocks.

I should add that it is made from 3/4" Baltic Birch ply. Same as Mesa. And it's covered with black Taurus tolex that is IDENTICAL to Mesa tolex. It's wired with 10 gauge SoundRunner wire and gold-plated connectors. It can run in 8 ohm mono or 16 ohm stereo.

If you'd like to see some pics of the builds in progress, go to my site: www.dafguitars.com

Thanks.

horizontal? vertical? slant back? vintage metal grille? speaker config?
what exactly you lookin' for?

Horizontal 2x12, something that would sound good with a DR. Originally I wanted to trade my head for a combo but also considering down sizing cabs,
CudBucket's is sweet
