It's a VHT 50/12. It is the combo version of the 50/ST which I used to have.
It's a 2X12 combo. 50 watts, EL34's. 4 12AX7's and 1 EF86 for the tube driver.
It also has rectifier tube GZ something, I'll have to look again for that one.
2 channels. An incredible clean channel! OMG! And the lead channel which is
killer. Not as high gain has most the Steve Fryette VHT's are like the UL, CLX,
CL. It's amount of gain has been described as a boosted JCM800. I love this
thing. I have thoroughly regretted selling my 50/ST. There are few differences.
The biggest is no graphic EQ. Sounds awesome without it. And to my surprise,
no master volume! My 50/ST had one so I was shocked. Doesn't matter at all
I just didn't even think to look for it till I got it. It has class A and AB. Parallel
or serial loop. Assignable reverb. Boosts on both channels. Selectable rectifier
or solid state. The EFX loop also can act as a master volume but I think I'll get
a Hotplate. Sounds killer with strats in any position and just as good with humbuckers!
Killer amp for sure! Has adjustable bias as well and can take EL34's or 6L6's.
Which amp do you have TimeSignature?
