Do any of you guys use wireless headset mics?

We've been trying to find a singer for a while now (about 6 months) and so far, nothing!
I've been singing, but can't get used to the mic stand and having to look down to push buttons on the pedal board.
I can sing, and I can play (both somewhat reasonably), but am having trouble doing both because of the mic in my face.

If anybody uses one, what brand and model?
Which ones should be avoided? :?:

My fear is that I won't be able to pull away from the headset like I do with the SM-57 to avoid clipping.
I seem to have an incredibly loud voice at times!

I don't have a lot to switch too because I only need drive clean and a solo tone twice throughout the entire setlist. BUT I do agree that it's another thing to think about and it can screw up your coordination/concentration. That's why my friend switches my channels backstage on gigs.

I wouldn't use a headset mic just because to me it looks a bit weird. But it is undoubtedly a practical solution.

BTW EV mics are good headset mics.
