I have come to the realization that getting a pair of Mesa STR416's is more than likely not gonna happen as they are hardly seen and being so, pretty expensive. So I figure that I would give a pair of Winged C EL34's a try if I can locate a pair for a Mesa. Does anyone know of a reputable dealer who has some for sale that is suitable for my IIC+? I am late to the game on these so I am not sure which are good and who has them.

Thanks!
Scott

SED =C= are hard to come by these days since SED stopped production recently. I have these in my Mark IV and love them.

Scott: Mesa STR-416's are Sylvania EL-34/ 6CA7's.
Basically they are Sylvania tubes that met Mesa's EL34 spec then label with "Mesa STR-416"
So you could also use/ look for Sylvania EL34's.

BB can probably tell you what specs they should have to use them in your Simul C+.
