Will leaving my Mark 4 footswitch in the amp make it fuller?

Hallo,

I've been leaving the footswitch to my Mark IV in the amp recently as I'm all MIDI now.

It sounds a bit fuller, due to it's more "closed back-ness" now.

Is it just me imagining things??

Probably not. After all, I'm sure there's a good ("real") reason they make fully open, 1/2 open and 3/4 open cabs...

Less airflow = more heat = less tube life. Best if you get a separate closed back cab and put the footswitch somewhere else.
