Which Triaxis Did Petrucci Use?

which Triaxis did petrucci use on rock discipline?

His tone was really great and I want to make sure I get the right one.

theres a triaxis I can buy that is 'version 2.0 with fat mode'.

is this the one he used?

I'm not sure which one he used on that instructional video but I have a VER:2 TRIAXIS with FAT MOD and a 2:Fifty power amp and I FREAKIN LOVE my tone!!! It makes practicing so pleasureable. TONE FOR DAYS!!!!!!!! :wink: If you don't mind me asking , if you do pick that TRIAXIS up ( which they do not make anymore) what power amp you plannin on using? Thanks , Michael

Both units,version 1 or 2 have the same sound , only midi modifications.
You can install phat model in both units so it doesn't matter.
Version 2 is plenty of midi capabilities wich version 1 didn't had. :wink:

With 2.90 you can use its modern and deep modes wich will offer more tones.

He used a version 2 with the original recto curcuit, not Phat mod, on the "Rock Discepline" vid/DVD. It was shot in 95 and the phat mod didn´t appear until 97, I believe.

Only the recto mode is different between the recto loaded Triaxis versions though, all the other modes are the same.
JP used the Lead 2 Yellow (IIC+) mode a lot, so that mode is still there.
