Hi.
In my Express 5:25+ amp, a while back I started noticing that there were less overdrive on the burn than before. Or at least, that's what I think I'm hearing - it's possibly that it's just me, but I do think it is the case that it has lost some overdrive/power.
Then, about a week or so, I suddenly got quite a drop in volume on the crunch channel. It does seem like it's a drop in volume only, not the amount of drive. On the other channels I haven't really noticed anything different, even when switching between different wattage settings, so I don't believe it's the power tubes.
Assuming I have issues with one of more preamp tubes, how would I go about figuring out which one(s) are bad? Do I pull one out, play my guitar while trying out all the different settings and channels, and repeat for all preamp tubes?
