WHich one?

Hey guys, I'm playing a concert tonight with my band, and i was wondering what preamp tube i should put in the V1 position. I have JJ High gains in V2-4 and a balanced 12ax7 in V5. My options are Mesa Russian 2 (which is in there now and sounds pretty good), JJ High Gain V1, or an Electro-Harmonics 12AX7EH. Thanks guys (I play metal/high gain...)

It depends upon the flavor you want. If you think R2 sounds good then stick with it. The JJ will give you a little darker tone while the EH will be brighter and maybe a little sparkly when compared to the others.
