I have a Mesa Boogie triple rectifier ( 2 channel) and I am using a Marshall 1960 box (for now, later a mesa box).
The amp is a bit to loud when I get the perfect sound, so I was wondering which hotplate I should buy.......

Thanks

8 Ohm will be the most useful if you want to use it with other amps at some stage.

The Hot Plate has to match the Ohm Load on the speaker box and amp, so that would probably be 16 ohm. If it were my rig I would wire the cab for 8 Ohms and get the 8 Ohm Hot Plate. That way if you wanted to ever use a Mesa cab you wouldn't have to get another plate.
