Where can I get a tube protector ?

If I were you I'd just go to your local handyman shop, get them to cut you a piece of aluminum (sorry, aluminium :wink: ) channel to the right width, and you can put a couple little wood tabs at the back to hold it if they aren't there already. That'll cost you a couple quid, tops, and work just fine.

My Single Rec (an early mk2) has a similar bar across the back, although later ones seem to have a mesh type one instead, unless it's something to do with export models being different ? If you're not bothered about aesthetics the possibilities are endless, if you want that exact same thing you may struggle.

I could probably find someone somewhere who would make one but as I have seen a lot of Boogies with identical ones, I assumed they were readily available from somewhere. Oh well, the search continues.
