So I just bought a .50 cal head, and after I sent the money it dawned on me that I don't know the difference between the .50 cal and the .50 cal +. I went to Mesa's site and checked the manuals, they look identical except for a bit about an EQ switch on the "+" version. Is this the only difference?

Also, while I'm thinking about it, what does the old school Red=Rhythm footswitch consist of? Is it worth $45 used?

GASing with no remorse,

Adam

The "+" determines if the amp has "lead master" which is the volume control for lead channel. Both "+" and non+ versions are available with and without the graphic

The early one has 4 El 84 Tubes, and the latter has 2 6L6's.

The footswitch is just a tip to ground switch. Search the board, I'm sure there is a schematic here.
