What's the best cabinet for this sound?

I'm looking for a cabinet that fits these criteria:
Recording Studio Environment - don't need loud
More Jazz, blues, 70's rock than metal - love clean and bluesy Strat tones...but sometimes need the drive of a les paul ala Santana or Steely Dan.

I'm familiar with the Thiele/open back combo sound and really love it...

Is there a single cabinet that would deliver what the Thiele/Combo does but offer something different maybe a little bigger? Maybe even different speakers than the EV since that is what I'm familiar with...

Using the Mark II C+...
