I have no real issue with the Celestion V 30's. They dont break up til I want them to which is good. But generally, I am more happy with Eminence Governors . When recording, I can always cut a little EQ here and there to make them sound more raspy if I want to
The Celestion speakers by and large are less efficient designs which can sound cool or sometimes less cool depending on the situation.
Playing a Mark 3 or 4 through V30's sounds like there's a compressor between the amp and speakers versus using Eminence Legends. For some guys, that's more Metal and for some guys like me , it's just less efficiency.
