A bunch of botique pedals. if a guitar, a late '80s MIA swimming pool-routed strat, drop some buckers in it, put a new 1 piece maple neck on it, 500k pots (push/pull volume) in there, sperzel tuners, graphite saddles. If an amp, a one-knob victoria.

Right now, if I had 1200 dollars to spend only on guitar-related gear (non-guitar gear, I'd go for a better recording interface), I'd have to bargain with my local Guitar Center on the used Laney GH100L half stack I played tonight. I was absolutely floored by the sound of this amp, and it's by far one of the best rhythm amps I've ever played.
