What to do about BACKUP TUBES???

The Boogie Board

I'd buy:

3 to 7 Tung Sol 12AX7 Highgrade
1 or 2 JAN 5751
a quartett of SED "winged c" 6L6
a quartett of Mesa or JJ El34

and start some experiments.

Actually the boogie tubes in the amp will (probably) be the spare tubes afterwards ;-)

Thats certainly one way to do it.

Yep, I'm set. I'm using a quad of JJ E34Ls and the stock Mesas are my 'backups'. I'm also using several TungSols so I've got the stock Mesa preamps for backups now as well. I'm all set.

great adviced here..... just want to add to keep a spare rectifier tube
